I love reflections...

I was awed by some of the visual effects that you've achieved in this short movie. The reflections of the water in the opening scene, the reflection in the buildings in the top down street scene, and the distortions of the water droplet over the city background are all very nicely done. I think that I've learned quite a few good lessons on new flash techniques to use by watching this video alone.

I love your animating. I used some tricks from your "Spirit of the Sword" game

Now that you have the publicity you needed...

Replace that annoying voice for the main character! It really stands in my way of enjoyment when a highly educated FBI agent would sound like a mentally challenged patient with speech impairment problems. It really hurts the mood and pacing of the story since his narration was basically half of the story (the other half being the 3D rendered graphics, which nobody can really complain about).

As far as animation is concerned, it's mostly fluid, but some of the cutting can seem awkward (the tentacle-tongue man somehow stood around for a second before grabbing the main character) and classic anticipation techniques are lacking (the main character knocked off a gun and punch a guy out while standing perfectly still; even if he's perfectly trained in martial arts, that was hardly convincing)... but we ARE talking about 3D animations here. The effort alone are worth the props, but the critiques are there in case you're ready to move on to the next step.

You can probably lose the character portrait on the subtitles to give the movie a more cinametic feel.

Kudos!

Hi there
We'll work on the voices for next episodes (and probably redo the voices for that one) but I don't think we'll completly change it cause we're proud to make it ourselves. Also, you're talking about how the balance of the character isn'T disturb while he's punching the black-suit guy ? hehe come on give us a break it's just a freaking flash movie :D
Thanks for your constructive comments we're glad that people take the time to write decent comments...not just "That was good" or "man this sucked" hehe
Thanks

The creator of Ronin, giving my movie a 10?? I'm flattered!! ;)

fan service episode...?

Heh, I actually feel a little more uncomfortable now that Germaine speaks. I've always liked Foamy (who doesn't), but Germaine just lacks a little something (I really can't tell exactly what) that would make the duo more dynamic. She used to have some sort of silent power when she couldn't speak, but now she seems to be dragging the story down compared to Foamy's mile-a-minute voice.

I mean, it's not bad voice acting, it's just too... normal. You'd expect something more "wierd" from a goth chick like Germaine.

Also, it seems like there's a lot of extra booty shots in this episode, is it just coincidence or are you finally succuming to the fan's demand to show "cartoon drawings of naked girls"?

t3h lag iz too great lolz !!!11

Oh good old days of MMORPGS, how can we live without them.

They really should consider making a Resident Evil MMORPG though, the action MMORPGs that are currently out there all sucked.

short and sweet...

...and just the way most people like them. They are pretty original as far as I'm concerned. The only wierd thing that I found out is that the credits button doesn't work... which, most people would usually furnish their life over just to get their name on the clip...

Are people still playing CS?!

Another great episode of slapstick humor (excuse the pun)... those spelling errors look intentional, but oh well, if they're not, you might really need to correct them. How about some annoying kid who try to 1337 speak everything in the next episode?

Picking up first review for ep 4 and 5!

...hopefully. Anywho, here is my comments on each aspect of the cartoon/anime: In terms of Graphics, you can probably slack off with two color shading (normal and shadow) since people usually don't pick up much more than that in a full speed animation; of course, extreme close-ups are exceptions. Sound effects are seriously lacking; you can pick up a lot of free and good ones at meanrabbit's radioactive containment facility. There's usually ambient sounds to flight, charging power, or other such actions; be attentive. As for Style and the story in general, it's best if you diverge from what DBZ offers you... they really don't have the best script writer on board. It's good to see young artists rising to the occasion; I hope you the best in your long journey ahead.

I think I got first review...

Unless some bastard can write this faster than I do. Anyway, it's yet another DBZ spinoff, but there's obviously much more effort involved than just stick figure plays. Since I think GM5 is also in the portal, I think my long review would work better over there. See you in a minute.

Hot damn! The chicken song!

Very stylized art accompanied by the irrestible chicken song...

And guns. Lots of guns.
